As a native of Bay Ridge, I will always identify myself as “New Yorker” first even though I;m 30 years removed, married to a Canadian, have lived in SF, San Diego and Calgary and are moving to Malaysia in two months. This video is perfect. I laughed, smiled and totally identified with everything you said. It’s funny how so many things change but being a New Yorker forever never really does. This cracked me up, even though I am not a New Yorker, more like one of those tourists who gets in her way. But she has it dead on, as far as I can see.
Great entertainment to start the week, and quite true in many ways. And I agree with Frances D – seeing that skyline after an extended absence is always a great reminder of why I chose this place to call home 🙂
